Admission to Graduate Business Programs

Traditional Programs 

Current minimum requirements for admission to any of the "traditional" College of Business graduate programs are outlined below.  Traditional programs include:

  • Master of Business Administation
  • Master of Accounting
  • Master of Taxation
  • Master of Health Administration and all
  • Master of Science degree programs. 

Select the "Academic Programs" link at left for specific information and course requirements for these programs. 

Note:  Admission to graduate programs is competitive, and meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance.

A student seeking admission into a traditional College of Business graduate program must meet the following minimum requirements:

1)  A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution or, for international students, an institution recognized in its own country as preparing students for further study at the graduate level AND

2)  A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 for the last 60 credits hours of undergraduate course work leading to the bachelors degree AND

3)  A minimum score of 500 on the GMAT (450 for the MHA degree program) OR a minimum score of 1000 on the GRE.

Applications must be submitted online to the FAU Graduate College by the following filing dates.

After your online application is complete, your application fee has been paid and all transcripts have been received by the Graduate College, you will be referred to the College of Business for a final decision. 

Applicants should also be familiar with the additional, essential information found in the University Catalog regarding graduate programs in general and College of Business programs specifically.

Executive Programs

Executive Programs are administered separately from the traditional programs.  Admissions information on Executive programs can be found as indicated below.   

- Executive MBA or Weekend MBA programs can be found on the Executive Programs website. 

- The School of Accounting website offers information on the Executive Tax program and the Executive Forensic Accounting program.
