Prestige scholarships are nationally competitive scholarships, which support graduate study in the U.S. or abroad and typically require applicants to be nominated by their University. FAU has established a Prestige Scholarship Coordinating Committee of faculty advisors to hold annual informational meetings on the Boca, Davie and Jupiter campuses, actively encouraging faculty to identify and recruit potentially competitive candidates, cultivate prospective applicants, and organize the institutional screening of candidates.

Students and employers interested in participating or offering an entrepreneur internship must first register with the Career Resource Center (CRC). Internships provide students with an opportunity to gain valuable practical experience under the guidance of a supervisor (mentor) in the work setting, as well as a professor in the academic setting. All business majors may receive academic credit for an internship. Entrepreneur students register for MAN 4940, Management Internship. Students complete a series of activities and reports throughout the term, culminating with an Internship Portfolio at the end of the term.
