SHRM PHR®/SPHR® Exam Preparation Course

Human Resource Professionals account for almost 1 million jobs in the current economy. Human resource management professionals impact an organization at every level. Florida Atlantic University’s SHRM PHR®/SPHR® Exam Preparation Course will prepare you for managing the ongoing challenges of today’s professional environment by providing preparation and training for both the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) examinations. In partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Florida Atlantic University’s SHRM PHR®/SPHR® Exam Preparation  program is designed to help eligible HR Professionals prepare for the Human Resource Certification Institute’s (HRCI®) national examination for the Professional or Senior Professional in Human Resources (PHR®/SPHR®) designation.

 

Instruction follows the SHRM Learning System and covers the six subject areas required for the PHR®/SPHR® accreditation:

  • Business Management and Strategy
  • Workforce Planning and Employment
  • Human Resource Development
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Employee and Labor Relations
  • Risk Management

Module content and end-of-course exams are similar in form and content and simulate the national accreditation examination.


Instructional Method and Format

  • Instructor-led by an SPHR® certified instructor
  • Follows the SHRM Learning System and covers the relevant areas required for the PHR®/SPHR® accreditation
  • Include both traditional and computer-based learning components
  • Course material and structure simulate the form and content of the national exams.
