Honors, Achievements, and Affiliations
Professor Litvak is the author, co-author, or editor of more than 15 books and monographs and the sole author of more than 75 articles. A number of his articles have won prizes such as The Touche Ross Award for the best Business Quarterly article of the year, and the Deloitte Touche award for one of the three best articles of the decade. Dr. Litvak is a recipient of numerous grants in support of his research work from various foundations, such as Ford, Donner, and McLean. He has received multi-grants from the Social Science Research Council of Canada. Professor Litvak has been a consultant to business, government, industry associations, and the United Nations, and has also served as a member of various corporate boards. Dr. Litvak has been called on to appear before Canadian Parliamentary and U.S. Congressional Committees. These invitations resulted from his research and, in a number of cases, his work contributed to new policy initiatives including the introduction of legislation and regulation.

Chandra S. Mishra holds the Office Depot Eminent Scholar Chair and Professor of Entrepreneurship in the College of Business. He is a founding Co-Editor of Entrepreneurship Research Journal (ERJ), a scholarly journal focusing on entrepreneurship research. Since 2002 till 2010 he was Editor-in-chief of Journal of Small Business Management (JSBM), one of the major journals in the entrepreneurship field. Prior to FAU, Chandra was Professor of Finance at Rollins College, Associate Professor of Finance at Oregon State University, and Assistant Professor of Finance at Loyola University Chicago.
