Michael Crain

Biography

Dr. Michael Crain was a practicing CPA for over 30 years before joining the faculty full-time at FAU. In addition to teaching, he is the director of FAU’s Center for Forensic Accounting. He specializes in forensic accounting, measuring economic damages, and business valuation. Mike also consults in these areas and has testified in courts of law as an expert witness. He has received several awards including American Institute of CPA’s Lawler Award presented by AIPCA’s Journal of Accountancy for best article of the year and AICPA’s Sustained Contribution Award.
