Department of Management Programs 

Welcome to the Department of Management Programs at Florida Atlantic University .  The academic areas that we serve are increasingly important in our society as organizations continue to expect more effective managers and management practices, and as both international business and entrepreneurship become vital components of the world economy.  Students graduating with a degree in one of these areas will be prepared for a multitude of career opportunities. The mission of the Management Programs Department includes teaching, research and service.  As one of the seven academic units in the College of Business we are the largest department in the College, serving over 1800 students.  We house the third largest major in the  University and offer a range of business programs to a diverse student body of traditional and non-traditional students.  Our aim is to develop future leaders with the skills to successfully navigate the demands of business within a global marketplace.  Areas of concentration at the undergraduate level include management, human resources, small business/entrepreneurship, and international business.  At the graduate level we offer the Global Entrepreneurship track and the International Business track in the interdisciplinary MBA, a Master of Science in International Business (MSIB), and doctoral programs in areas of faculty expertise. The Management Programs faculty is comprised of 26 faculty, most with doctoral degrees and the remainder with graduate degrees in their area of specialty.  

Management Programs faculty members are actively engaged in ongoing research, and have published in leading academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Leadership Quarterly, and the Strategic Management Journal.
