Weekly Kicker Stats - 2023

WEEK 13 (November 20-25)

Ratings are based on a formula that adds points for a successful field goal, and subtracts points for a missed field goal.  The amount added or subtracted changes based on factors such as field goal distance, weather conditions, and stadium altitude.  See our methodology.

Key:
888 and -888 = Did not attempt a field goal --- USED FOR WEEKLY RANKINGS
999 and -999 = has fewer than 10 FG attempt so far this season --- USED FOR TOTAL SEASON RANKINGS

"Season Score," used to be an accumulation of points earned throughout the season. The "Average Score per Kick" will also factor into the Season Score.  We've determined this is a better way to measure kicker performance. The weighting will start in Week 1 with 100% of the score coming from the accumulated points.  As we move through the season, the "Average Score per Kick" will become a significant part of the "Season Score" calcuation. The expected weights for the "Average Score per Kick" will be:  Week 1: 0%, Week 2: 10%, Week 3: 20%, Week 4: 25%, Week 5: 30%, Week 6-9: 35%, Week 10-15: 40%.
