Flexible MBA - Health Administration
While the Masters of Health Administration is the department's flagship program at the College of Business, there are other ways to get a solid understanding of healthcare management principles through the MBA Health Administration Specialization and Certificate in Health Administration.
Certificate in Health Administration
If students simply want a few healthcare management courses on their resume, but do not want to make the time and financial commitment of a full master’s degree, they may apply to the MHA program then take four of the core health administration courses. Successful completion of the four courses will earn a certificate. The student requests the College of Business graduate advising office to contact the University registrar to note on the transcript you have earned a Certificate in Health Administration. Students will also receive a paper certificate. Certificates do not participate in the diploma conferring and graduation ceremony.
Note: once the credits are used towards a certificate, students cannot return at a later time and reuse them towards an MHA, credits are used for one formal conferral.
