Winning in Paradise: FAU AMA chapter earns semi-finalist recognition
FAU’s American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter was recognized as a semifinalist at the annual AMA International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans on March 30 – April 1 for its submission to the Wall Street Journal case competition. FAU was the highest placing Florida university, placing alongside Indiana University – Bloomington, University of Cincinnati, and others.

Labor shortages and fiscal pressure have forced new responsibilities on retail workers, many of whom become indifferent or leave because they lack the training or desire to police problem customers, according to researchers at Florida Atlantic University and three other schools.
