The 16-month Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program is specially designed to allow participants to continue their professional responsibilities while earning an AACSB-accredited Master of Science in Finance degree. With courses offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings, our full-service, all-inclusive program is specially designed for those with busy personal and professional commitments as well as for those who prefer the convenience of a full service, structured, cohort program. The Master of Science in Finance program trains current and future professionals for productive careers in financial management, investment banking and investment management.
The program includes Bloomberg Certification and preparation courses for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
The MS in Finance program uses real-world applications and access to the top faculty in finance, complementing studies in the classroom to create a real-world learning experience. Your studies are designed to develop your abilities in critical thinking, analysis, and problem solving. Future finance professionals will learn how to be adept at interpreting continually changing events and circumstances within this booming industry.
Upon completion of the MS in Finance program, you will have earned the Master of Science in Finance degree (MS Finance).
The Master of Science in Finance degree program begins each fall and spring semester.
The spring 2017 MS in Finance degree program begins Monday and Wednesday, January 9 & 11, 2017.

- Tuition: $1,000 per credit hour - Tuition is the same for Florida Residents, Out-of-State Residents & International Students.

Master of Science in Finance students can become Bloomberg Certified in either Equities and/or Fixed Income. The certification program includes recorded instructor-led demonstrations of the functionality of the Bloomberg terminal followed by exam, quizzing the participation their ability to properly use Bloomberg. Master of Science in Finance students can register at their convenience on any of the FAU Bloomberg terminals and will have 24/7 card access to the Bloomberg Lab in BU 214. Successful completion of the certification requires passing three introductory courses followed by five courses on equities or five courses on fixed income, depending on the certification being pursued.
The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation is the globally recognized standard for establishing professional credibility within the field of financial analysis. If you are a finance or investment professional, the CFA® credential will solidify your position as a competent and credible member of the finance profession, increase your marketability and salary potential, and certify your skills. Master of Science in Finance students interested in pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designation can attend FAU Executive Educations CFA® preparation courses Level 1 & 2. Students can start the CFA® preparation courses in their last semester. Tuition for the program will be waived in the student’s final semester. Students must cover the cost of materials to attend the CFA® preparation courses.
The program allows participants to continue their professional responsibilities while earning a regionally-accredited MS in Finance degree as full-time graduate students. Each class begins and progresses through the program as a group, sharing the same sequence of classes and educational experiences.
