Biography

Philippe Dubois has over 10 years of professional experience in finance which complements his academic work. His areas of expertise include investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, raising capital, and new business development.

Philippe worked with a leading investment family office in the LATAM region to promote and raise funds for projects across multiple industries. He has connected projects with high-end investors and financial institutions (The World Bank, private equities and the Central Bank of Haiti). Philippe has worked closely with the leadership team at the Central Bank of Haiti to analyze the impact of job creation on the economy through the construction of an Integrated Economic Zone “IEZ”.

Philippe, his wife, and his family reside in Boca Raton. Currently, he is an instructor in the Finance Department at Florida Atlantic University.

Philippe’s research interests include the following areas: director’s compensation, corporate social responsibility, gender diversity, and firm performance.
