Biography

Raquel Fas-Bravo is the principal attorney and owner of The Law Office of Raquel Fas-Bravo. Mrs. Fas-Bravo concentrates her practice on employment litigation and advice in all areas of employment law. Her experience includes successfully representing a broad range of domestic and international clients on issues involving the following areas: sexual harassment; sex, race, national origin, age, religion, and disability discrimination; Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA); Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA); Equal Pay Act (EPA); Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA); Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX), along with employment tort and contract claims. Mrs. Fas-Bravo provides management-level individuals and Human Resources/Business Professionals with training on litigation avoidance in all areas of labor and employment law, with emphasis in discrimination and wage and hour law.

Mrs. Fas-Bravo is a frequent speaker at local, regional and national programs about employment law and ADR topics. In addition, Mrs. Fas-Bravo has published various works on employment law, including her contribution on FLSA as part of the “Critical Thinking Application 10-D to the book Human Resources Management an Experimental Approach, 6th Ed., H. John Bernardin and Joyce E.A. Russell, 2013.
