
Ana Albert
Biography
Ana Larrea-Albert is Founder of the Institute of Leadership and Culture and author of The Confident Leader: From Self-Doubt to Authentically You.
Ana is passionate about human potential, leadership development, and cultures that
flourish, bringing her education and experience in leadership, behavioral science,
neuroscience, and adult development together to lead the transformation of executives
and professionals around the world through corporate partnership designing, conducting
and facilitating corporate training, development programs and teaching.
As the Founder of the Institute of Leadership and Culture, she wears many hats, among them consultant, executive coach, international speaker,
author and educator. She has built several mentoring and leadership coaching programs,
and spoken at or worked with Fortune 500 organizations and startups such as Microsoft,
PayPal, NASA, Altria Group, Centene, Office Depot, Baird Capital, AMP Robotics, and
many others.
In addition to her recently published book, Ana also authored the bilingual children’s
book series ZeeZee Can | ZeeZee Puede that encourages children to dream big, take action, and make a difference. Her second
book, ZeeZee Can Make the World Smile | ZeeZee puede hacer sonreír al mundo received an honorable mention at the International Latino Book Awards this year for
Most Inspirational Children’s Picture Book.
After over 20 years of experience in business, serving in her last role as the Vice
President of Marketing and Customer Experience for a European multinational company
in the maritime industry, she graduated in 2021 from Harvard University with an MPA,
and has an MBA in International Business and a BS in Marketing from FAU (Go owls!),
where she served on the school’s Alumni Association and Marketing Executive Advisory
boards.
She currently teaches Leadership and Organizations at FAU’s Professional MBA program
and has been a guest speaker and workshop leader in the school’s executive education
and professional development programs. She also established the Future Latina Leaders
Mentorship program at FAU and has mentored for the Women in Executive Leadership program
several years.
Her work with the Hispanic community with the Latina Leadership Collective has been
recognized with the Latina of Influence distinction and the Everyday Hero Award nomination.
Ana is also a published author of award-winning research and has presented at national
and international universities. such as Harvard, World Maritime University in Sweden,
Georgia Tech, SIU, FAU, FIU, SIU, among others.
She was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, and lives in Wellington with her family.
