Henry Canfield
Biography
A versatile professional with a 25-year track record in entrepreneurship (with 16
endeavors), global executive roles, academia, and research across various international
business domains, specializing in innovation, strategy, international expansion, marketing,
and new business development.
My journey in Marketing and Sales started with my first endeavor at age 14, when I
learned about the market and how to attract and gain new customers. Working in various
industries as both an entrepreneur and executive in places like Brazil, the US, India,
and Poland, has given me a unique perspective on how crucial it is to understand different
cultures and values when it comes to grasping the market and making sure we have the
best offer for the right audience
Gained macro experience at the corporate level with two CMO positions (Soccer Club
in Brazil and Global cybersecurity SaaS in Miami) and LATAM market leader for WPP
group in Miami, with my own advertising agency growing from 4 co-founders to a 70+
team in three states. This turned into a group with acquisition of Digital, Public
Relations and Video Production – the business was sold after eight years of successful
operation.
For the past 8 years, have helped more than 50 clients to prepare their entry into
the US market with Analysis and Marketing Plans, from understanding and defining brand
positioning and target audience to comprehensive Go-to-Market plans implementation.
Joined FAU as Faculty for the Executive Education, Marketing and Management departments.
Also serve as an Advisory Board Member for FAU Recreation Center and the International
Business program.
Husband to my amazing Bianca and father to the biggest blessing named Cecília. Philosopher,
Chef, adrenaline addicted, and sports lover.
