Paula Pistoia

Biography

Paula Pistoia joined Florida Atlantic University in 1994, working in the Controller’s Office as an Accountant for the Cashier’s Office, the Payroll Office and Student Financial Aid. In 1996 she joined the College of Education as the Business Manager under Dean Jerry Lafferty. In 2004, she transferred to the College of Business where she is currently the Finance and Operations Manager. Before coming to FAU, Paula worked as an Accountant at the Boca Raton Resort and Club. Paula is originally from New York, where she graduated from Hunter College, cum laude, and worked for the Controller in the Corporate Offices of United Colors of Benetton. She is married with two sons and volunteers at Addison Mizner Elementary School and the Boca Raton Little League. She also served on the Board for the Karen Slattery Educational Research Center for Child Development at FAU.
