How do I get my books and materials for my courses?
The JMFE nextGRAD program covers all books and materials for approved JMFE nextGRAD undergraduate, graduate and certificate courses. Your nextGRAD advisor will assist you each semester as your books and materials will be mailed to your address.
What is the nextGRAD grade policy?
For both undergraduate students and graduate students, the passing grade to have your tuition and course materials covered by JMFE and approved by Edcor is a “C.”
For Graduate students: A cumulative 3.0 GPA average must be maintained on all degree requirements. This is the minimum requirement necessary for a graduate degree at Florida Atlantic University.
Once I am admitted and taking classes, will I have access to an advisor throughout my program?
All students in the nextGRAD Program have a dedicated advisor who supports and guides them throughout their time at FAU. Your advisor will meet with you each semester to create your personalized schedule and to assist with maximizing your success in the program while considering your work/life commitments. Your advisor will be your main point of contact for degree or nextGRAD related questions and will help you interpret academic policies and how they may apply to you.
What is the required process to ensure that my tuition, fees and course materials are paid for each semester?
A wonderful benefit of the nextGRAD Program is that you will not be required to pay for your tuition or course materials at the start of each semester. JMFE will cover these costs in full as long as you have passed your courses and complete the process below for every semester. Your nextGRAD Advisor will thoroughly review this process and important deadlines with you upon admission to your chosen degree or certificate program.
Before classes begin:
- Submit a completed registration form to your advisor
- Submit your Edcor approval to your advisor
After classes end and your final grade has posted: You will receive two invoices to your FAU email address at the end of each term:
- An itemized tuition invoice (including final grades)
- A course materials invoice.
You will submit both of these items to Edcor.
How do I report my grades to JMFE at the end of each semester?
JMFE is notified of your passing grades after you have submitted your itemized tuition and course materials invoices to Edcor at the end of each semester. Edcor will provide you with confirmation that your submission has been accepted.
What if I have issues with my Edcor?
