How are online classes making it possible for you to keep working towards your degree?

FAU online classes provide the opportunity to finish my bachelor's degree in an area of study that was not available in my proximity. The online flexibility also allows me to stay committed to my academics and maintain balance with my current obligations and family life.

What did you like the most about online classes?

I enjoy how online classes permit the possibility of creating a self paced schedule to work ahead within the framework of the course deadlines.

What is the most important benefit offered by online classes?

Online classes create the benefit of pursing an education in an efficient manner while juggling other priorities.

How do you balance work, family and school?

Before each semester, I make a weekly calendar of all course assignments, exams, and deadlines. I evaluate the combined weekly requirements for my courses and my prior obligations. I then prioritize the weeks that I should work ahead to keep a balanced schedule, instead of a hectic schedule. Most importantly, I work ahead and don't procrastinate.

What advice do you have for future Owls considering FAU?

Take the first step forward and doors of opportunity will open. Dedication and hard work pay with great rewards. Your education is a tool for success that no one can take away. Empower yourself through education!
