Annual Accounting & Tax Recruitment Event

Interview the highest caliber of students and hire with ease!

Since 2013, FAU’s School of Accounting has offered select firms the opportunity to get quality time to network and interview with the best and brightest students in a “speed dating” format. Only students who have declared an Accounting or Tax major and who have at least a 3.0 GPA are invited to participate in this exclusive event. The College of Business Career Development Team pre-selects and prepares FAU's top-tier students so we can guarantee firms will meet with only the highest caliber of student to hire at ease.

Firm recruiters will be stationed in a classroom where an intimate group of students will rotate in 20-minute intervals for an informal interview and individual discussions. At the end of the day, recruiters will have had the opportunity to network with over 50 of the School of Accounting’s top performing students.

The School of Accounting is among the largest accounting programs in the United States, with approximately 1,200 students in undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The faculty comprises award-winning scholars who have been recognized for their contributions to education and research. Under the leadership of Dr. George Young, the Director of the School of Accounting, the college places a strong emphasis on ensuring that accounting and tax students are fully prepared after graduation to enter the field, with many sitting for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. FAU takes great pride in ensuring that our students are prepared to start their career and are excited to give firms the unique opportunity to confidently expand their team.
