The heat map below showcases the density of equity crowdfunding activity amongst U.S. states. The darker the shade of blue, the greater the amount raised by campaigns in that particular state. For example, the campaigns of all collective firms headquartered in California have raised the largest amount of money of any state from 2016 to today.
