CURRICULUM DESCRIPTION
This course provides an introduction to Income Tax Planning. Topics include basic income tax fundamentals and calculations, taxation of investments and insurance products, tax considerations for education planning, tax reduction and management strategies, tax considerations for special circumstances, basic business entity taxation, taxation of property transactions, passive activity and at-risk rules, and tax law compliance and procedures.

Carl Christie has been a practicing financial planner for over 27 years and has held the CFP designation since 2001. Carl has also been the National Board Director of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since January 2013.
