CURRICULUM DESCRIPTION
This course provides an introduction to investment planning. Topics include securities markets, debt and equity investments, managed assets, bond and stock valuation and risk measurement calculations, alternative investments and derivatives, portfolio management theory, and asset allocation.

If you are an established finance practitioner, an existing financial planner or preparing for a career in the financial services field, this program will help you prepare for the CFP Exam as a requirement to earn the highly respected CFP® marks, increasing your earning power as you advance in your career.

CFP certification is granted only by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements.

Ehab Abdalla has taught CFP courses as part of the PMD program at Merrill Lynch. He has also taught courses as an adjunct for Johnson & Wales University.
CARL CHRISTIE
CFP®, CFS
Carl Christie has been a practicing financial planner for over 27 years and has held the CFP designation since 2001. Carl has also been the National Board Director of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since January 2013.
