FAU and U.S. Department of Treasury to Host Forensic Accounting and Financial Institution Fraud Conference

BOCA RATON, Fla. (May 20, 2019) – Florida Atlantic University’s Center for Forensic Accounting and the U.S. Department
of the Treasury’s Office of Inspector General will host the Forensic Accounting and
Financial Institution Fraud Conference.
The event will take place in the Office Depot Center, Room 101, FAU’s College of Business, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus. Members of the media are welcome to attend. The conference runs Wednesday, May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., and Thursday, May 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
The third annual forensic accounting conference hosted by the two organizations will focus on financial institution fraud as related to forensic accounting and the importance of the forensic financial and law enforcement communities working together to combat financial institution fraud. Speakers will include members from components of government and private sector experts.
