Tri-County Output Insights
The Tri-County Output Insights dashboard tracks economic production in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties using real GDP data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) measures the total value of goods and services produced in a region, and the use of real GDP adjusts for inflation, allowing for meaningful comparisons over time. For each county, we display a pie chart showing the contribution of each industry to total output, alongside a chart highlighting the five fastest-growing industries between 2019 and 2023. These visuals offer a clear picture of what drives economic activity in South Florida—and how that mix is changing.
