Summer, Semester and Year Programs
Through experiencing a different culture and earning academic credit, students enhance their personal, professional and academic résumé—demonstrating that they have the intercultural competence and versatility needed to compete in today’s global workforce. Most programs have coursework taught in English, though there are many programs available to students looking to learn a new language or practice one they are learning.
Exchange Programs
Students are registered and pay tuition at FAU, but are enrolled in courses at a partner institution abroad. All courses are pre-approved by FAU; tuition and fees are waived at the host institution. Space on exchange programs is limited- spots do fill, so apply early!

Direct Enroll Programs
Students directly enroll as an international student at one of FAU’s partner institutions abroad; tuition is paid directly to the host institution and students receive FAU transfer credit for pre-approved courses upon successful completion.
