Traditional PhD- Excellence in College of Business PhD Student Teaching Award
|
The Excellence in PhD Student Teaching Award is a competitive award conferred annually
to one or two business PhD students and is intended to encourage effective education
and recognize excellence in education. Business PhD students who are teaching in their
third or fourth year and have not begun their job search are eligible for the award.
Students need to provide the following when applying:
1. Mean SPOT for question 6 less than 2.5
2. Peer review of teaching completed by a 2nd year student
3. Faculty review of teaching, if available
4. Innovative instructional resources
5. Nomination letter from department chair / director
The recipient of this scholarship must have a minimum 3.0 program GPA and the review
committee will also be deciding recipients based on a personal statement, research,
service, and CV.

Traditional PhD in Accounting Fellowship

The Accounting Doctoral Alumni Endowed Fellowship is awarded to a College of Business Traditional PhD student in Accounting. The recipient of this scholarship must have a minimum 3.0 program GPA and the review committee will also be deciding recipients based on a personal statement, research, service, and CV. |
Traditional PhD- Clyde C. Looknanan Scholarship |
The Clyde C. Looknanan Scholarship is awarded to a student who is enrolled in the College of Business as a Traditional PhD student in Accounting. The scholarship is awarded to support the student's scholarly research (costs related to primary data collection, secondary data acquisition, travel, and other research-related costs). Preference will be given to students engaged in: (a) experimental research and (b) student dissertations. The recipient of this scholarship shall have completed at least one year of PhD Accounting Program and be making satisfactory progress as determined by the School of Accounting. The recipient of this scholarship must have a minimum 3.0 program GPA and the review committee will also be deciding recipients based on a personal statement, research, service, and CV. |
Traditional PhD Scholarship |
The College of Business Scholarship PhD Alumni is awarded to a College of Business Traditional PhD student who is concentrating in Finance, ITOM, Management, or Marketing (Accounting concentrations are not eligible). The recipient of this scholarship must have a minimum 3.0 program GPA and the review committee will also be deciding recipients based on a personal statement, research, service, and CV. |

The College of Business Scholarship PhD Alumni in Accounting is awarded to a College of Business Traditional PhD student in Accounting. The recipient of this scholarship must have a minimum 3.0 program GPA and the review committee will also be deciding recipients based on a personal statement, research, service, and CV. |
Traditional PhD- Rosalie Premuroso Endowment |
The Rosalie Premuroso Endowment fund was created in memory of the mother of Ronald
F. Premuroso, PhD., CPA., who was an important part of Dr. Premuroso's development
and who passed away at a very young age from cancer.
Scholarships are for Traditional Ph.D. candidates in the School of Accounting. It
is intended to support funding for scholarly research and academic conferences. The
recipient of this scholarship must have a minimum 3.0 program GPA and the review committee
will also be deciding recipients based on their academic conference attendance needs,
a personal statement, research, service, and CV.
