Barbara L. and Harrison Newman Scholarship |
The Barbara L. Newman Memorial Scholarship in Accounting was established in 1984 in memory of Mrs. Newman by her husband, C. Harrison Newman, and their children. The field of accounting was selected as a tribute to Mrs. Newman's interest in that field. The purpose is to provide scholarships to full-time students (minimum of 12 credits for undergraduate or 9 credits for graduate) who have financial need. This is meant to be awarded to 5th year students within the FAU School of Accounting (Graduate Level Students or undergraduate who is getting a 2nd major). |
Ken P. Hoffman Memorial Scholarship

The Ken P. Hoffman Memorial Scholarship was established in 2005 to support students
in the College of Business interested in accounting. This scholarship will be awarded
to a full-time student (minimum of 12 credits for undergraduate or 9 credits for graduate)
who is majoring in accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
The recipient must be a member of the Accounting Students Association (ASA) and preference
is given to ASA Officers.

Michael J. and Mindy Feldman Accounting Scholarship (Fall & Spring scholarship) |
The Michael J. and Mindy Feldman Accounting Scholarship was established in 2020 to
support students in the College of Business interested in accounting. This scholarship
is awarded to a full-time student (minimum of 12 credits for undergraduate or 9 credits
for graduate) with a minimum 3.25 GPA and unmet financial need as determined by the
FAU Office of Student Financial Aid.
The student must have successfully completed ACG 3131 with a grade of ‘B’ or better.

Miriam & Seymour Feldstein Scholarship (Fall & Spring scholarship) |
The Miriam and Seymour Feldstein Scholarship was established in 2018 to provide support for undergraduate accounting students in the College of Business. This scholarship is awarded to an accounting student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. |
MSL CPAs Advisors (Ray Bolt memorial) Scholarship (Fall scholarship) |
The Ray Bolt Memorial Scholarship was established by MSL to benefit deserving undergraduate
and graduate students majoring in accounting. In the spirit of Ray Bolt, we hope the
winners of these scholarships will not only become as successful as Ray in the accounting
profession but will take to heart the story behind the legend and will be as civic-minded
as he was. The considered criterion for this scholarship includes the student’s activities,
community service, and grades. The scholarship recipient is given an opportunity to
visit the South Florida office of MSL (downtown Fort Lauderdale) for a tour, lunch,
and networking.

Paul Zelenkofske Accounting Scholarship

The Paul Zelenkofske Accounting Scholarship was established in 2005 in honor of Mr. Zelenkofske to support students majoring in accounting. This scholarship is awarded to a student who is in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of accounting degree (junior, senior, or first year of master’s degree). Preference given to non-traditional older students who are working to support themselves. Student must have unmet financial need as determined by the FAU Office of Student Financial Aid. |
SOA Accounting Kickoff Scholarship (Year 3 ASP students only) (Fall scholarship)

This SOA Accounting Kickoff Scholarship only applies to good standing Accounting Scholars
Program undergraduate students who have attended the current semester SOA Accounting
Kickoff recruiting event either as an event volunteer or a participant. Student must
have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA, be enrolled full time (minimum of 12 credits for undergraduate
or 9 credits for graduate) or in final semester of degree and must have successfully
completed at least two accounting/tax honors compacts.
Attendance to the SOA Accounting Kickoff recruiting event will be validated before
scholarship is awarded.

SOA Accounting Kickoff Scholarship (Event Participants only) (Fall scholarship)
|
This SOA Accounting Kickoff Scholarship only applies to students who have attended
the current semester SOA Accounting Kickoff recruiting event as a student participant.
Student must have a minimum 3.25 overall GPA, be enrolled full time (minimum of 12
credits for undergraduate or 9 credits for graduate) or in final semester of degree
and must have successfully completed ACG3131.
Attendance to the SOA Accounting Kickoff recruiting event will be validated before
scholarship is awarded.

Silverbush Scholarship in Accounting |
This scholarship is awarded to accounting students who are juniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Student must have financial need. |
Note: Accounting students have to take business ethics courses and qualify for these scholarships as well listed under our Business Ethics Scholarships.
