Overview of Program Information
Certificate Program in Business Analytics
Our Business Analytics programs are on the cutting edge of Business School’s educational trajectory. We educate and train students in this rapidly growing field by introducing the core concepts of business analytics, and by practicing hands-on data mining techniques, methods, and implementation. We focus on the business benefits and outcomes enabled by new business analytics technologies.
The Business Analytics Certificate is available to business professionals and to students who have already completed their undergraduate degrees in business or other areas.
Students cannot obtain both a certificate and a minor. To complete the minor/certificate requirement, four courses are required. Both the minor and certificate program require 12 credits each, with minimum grades of "C" required in all courses. For non-Business majors, waiver of related prerequisites will be made on a case-by-case basis. Database Management Systems ISM 4212 can be waived if a similar course has been taken in the student's coursework. For more information about the four required courses, please refer to the brief course descriptions here.
