Programs ends with income needs analysis for business owners and individuals.

COURSE BENEFITS
The Retirement Planning program is an interactive educational experience that provides the finest financial planning education. As part of The Certified Financial Planner Certification Program CFP®, this course will emphasize on Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) rules and regulations governing qualified retirement plans, including pension and profit-sharing plans.
In addition, a focus on non-qualified plans, stock options and deferred compensation for highly compensated associates/top executives of a corporation, thereby enabling the financial practitioner to evaluate the business owners needs and make specific plan recommendations to maximize the business contributions and deductions.
The program will provide extensive knowledge on IRA and Roth IRA rule of contributions and distributions, social security income and Medicare. Financial practitioner will run income gap analysis, to develop savings strategies for business owners and families.
CURRICULUM DESCRIPTION
Upon successful completion of the Retirement Planning program, financial practitioners will be able to:
- Identify the difference between qualified plans and non-qualified plans, further identify between defined contribution and defined benefit plans. Recognize stock option plans, deferred compensation and distinguish between pension and profit-sharing plans.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Designed and built for an established finance practitioner, an existing financial planner, or a seasoned professional in the financial services field; this program will prepare such individuals to earn the highly respected CFP® credential, thus increasing earning power and advancement of career.

Carl Christie has been a practicing financial planner for over 27 years and has held the CFP designation since 2001. Carl has also been the National Board Director of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since January 2013.
