CURRICULUM DESCRIPTION
Florida Atlantic University’s Certificate in Supply Management program follows the Institute for Supply Management’s (ISM) body of knowledge, prepares eligible participants for the CPSM® exam and provides comprehensive instruction by CPSM® certified supply management professionals in the following 3 knowledge areas of supply management:
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Intermediate, advanced or experienced buyers
- Sourcing, purchasing or supply chain professionals
- Individuals who need to gain a strong working knowledge of the field of supply management
- Individuals in the public or private sector
CPSM Learning System
- CPSM Study Guide (3 volume set)
- ISM® Professional Series 3 volume set)
- Diagnostic Practice Exam
(All Books and Materials are Included in program tuition; exam fees are not included)
- Pass an exam in each of the three Supply Management disciplines:
- Supply Management Core
- Supply Management Integration
- Leadership and Transformation in Supply
- To possess three years of full-time, professional supply management experience
- To meet the educational requirements set forth by ISM:
- Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®) Eligibility:
- Three years of full-time, professional supply management experience (non-clerical, non-support)
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or international equivalent
Upon completion, individuals will be awarded with a Certificate from Florida Atlantic University. In addition, individuals who wish to sit for the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM®) exams are required by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) to take the CPSM® exams.
