Kicker Awards - 2019

Our staff will regularly announce two weekly awards in recognition of kicking excellence.

Best Kicker Award – in recognition of the best overall kicking performance of the week. The minimum score required to receive the weekly award is 1.00 on the kicker scale. A score of 1.00+ distinguishes a weekly performance as exceptional. We believe the award is as much for the fans as it is for the player. Knowing this award slide may be retweeted, we want it to be for truly outstanding performances. Rarely, (approximately once every 20 weeks) the best weekly performance will be less than 1.00. In those cases, the Best Kicker Award will not be issued.

Big Foot Award – in recognition of the kicker with the longest successful field goal of the week. The minimum distance required to receive the weekly award is 50 yards. A field goal made from a distance of 50+ yards distinguishes the kick as exceptional. We believe the award is as much for the fans as it is for the player. Knowing this award slide may be retweeted, we want it to be for truly outstanding performances. In the rare instances where the best weekly performance is less than 50 yards, the Big Foot Award will not be issued.
