Benjamin Gordon
Founder and Managing Partner
Cambridge Capital
Benjamin Gordon is the founder and Managing Partner of Cambridge Capital. He draws on a career in building, advising, and investing in supply chain companies. Benjamin has led investments in outstanding firms, including XPO, Grand Junction, Bringg, Liftit, and others. Prior to Cambridge Capital, Benjamin built BGSA Holdings into a global leader in M&A for the supply chain sector. As CEO of BGSA, Benjamin led the firm’s efforts, advising on over $2 billion worth of supply chain transactions.
Benjamin has worked with firms such as UPS, DHL, Kuehne & Nagel, Agility Logistics, NFI Logistics, GENCO, Nations Express, Raytrans, Echo Global, Dixie, Wilpak, and others.
Prior to BGSA Holdings, Ben founded 3PLex, the Internet solution enabling third-party logistics companies to automate their business. Benjamin raised $28 million from blue-chip investors, including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, BancBoston Ventures, CNF, and Ionian. 3PLex was then purchased by Maersk. Prior to 3PLex, Benjamin advised transportation and logistics clients at Mercer Management Consulting. Prior to Mercer, Benjamin worked in his family’s transportation business, AMI, where he helped the company expand its logistics operations.
Benjamin is an active civic leader who is committed to giving back to the community. As founder and chairman of GesherCity, he boosted young adult volunteerism, expanding the organization to over 100,000 members in twenty locations. Benjamin has also served on the Boards of several non-profit groups, including the Palm Beach United Way, the Palm Beach Federation, the Palm Beach Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), the JDC, the JCCA, the Middle East Forum, and various other community organizations.
Benjamin received a Master's in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale College.

Tim Martin
President and CEO
Tropical Shipping
Tim Martin is the President and CEO of Tropical Shipping. He has responsibility for Tropical Shipping and subsidiaries (i.e., Caribtrans, VI Cargo, Deluxe Freight, and Seven Seas Insurance Co.). Tropical Shipping is the international transportation unit of Saltchuk Resources, a Washington-based family of transportation companies. Mr. Martin has been in the transportation industry for more than 30 years.
Tim lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with his wife Kim.

Christopher Sawchuk
Principal and Global Procurement Advisory Practice Leader
The Hackett Group
Mr. Sawchuk is a Principal, Global Practice Leader and leadership team member with The Hackett Group, an intellectual property-based strategic consultancy to global companies.
He has over 20 years of experience successfully advising hundreds of Fortune 500 as well as midsized companies across all industries globally. Mr. Sawchuk has provided operational and transformational guidance in strategy and organizational change as well as process design and digital technology enablement to significantly improve the supply management capabilities of these companies.
He is globally recognized in his specialty of supply management including strategic sourcing and supply risk management. He is cited regularly in business publications, a frequent presenter at industry events, author of numerous research papers, and a current and past member of the advisory boards of several developing companies.
Mr. Sawchuk’s background includes engineering, operations and sales roles with both United Technologies and IBM. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Union College and a Masters in Business Administration from Binghamton University (State University of New York). He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.

Steven Carnovale, PhD

Dr. Carnovale is a supply chain strategist specializing in interfirm networks, risk management and global sourcing/production networks with a specific focus on equity-based partnerships. He is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and an Associate Editor at the Journal of Supply Chain Management. His research has appeared in the Journal of Supply Chain Management, the Journal of Business Logistics, the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, the Journal of International Business Studies, the International Journal of Production Economics, the European Journal of Operational Research and Annals of Operations Research among others.
