FAU Business Welcomes Rajeev Sawant, Ph.D.

At the start of the Fall 2018 semester, the FAU College of Business is proud to welcome one of six new tenure-track faculty members who will bolster our expertise in economics, management, marketing and finance:

Rajeev Sawant, Ph.D. joins FAU as an experienced assistant professor, coming to us from Baruch College at the City University of New York. He earned his Ph.D. from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. With expertise in various aspects of international business and foreign direct investment, his articles have appeared in such academic journals as the Journal of International Business Studies, Academy of Management Review, and Journal of Business Research. His book, “Infrastructure Investing: Managing Risks & Rewards for Pensions, Insurance Companies & Endowments,” was published by Wiley in 2010. Prior to earning his Ph.D., he served in the Indian Armed Forces, rising to the rank of Company Commander. He also has experience as an entrepreneur, having served as founder and CEO of a telecomm company.
