College of Business

Florida Atlantic University's College of Business was ranked amongst the top 50 schools in the country for online graduate business degrees, according to 2025’s “Best Online Programs” list from U.S. News & World Report.

The college's online graduate business degrees (non-MBA) ranked No. 46, while the online graduate business for veterans was No. 22.

“We're committed to continuing to innovate, and strengthen our programs, ensuring that our focus remains on preparing our students for the challenges and opportunities of the future,” said Daniel Gropper, Ph.D., dean of FAU’s College of Business. “Over the past few years, we’ve seen significant growth in both our academic programs and our campus community, which has translated into improved outcomes for our students.”

Now in its 15th year, the U.S. News & World Report “Best Online Programs” list is a resource for students and working adults who are increasingly seeking online education programs for degree completion and career advancement. Prospective students can use the searchable directory to explore factors such as tuition, program offerings and online services offered to enrolled students.

The 2025 Best Online Programs methodologies are based on several factors, including engagement, faculty credentials and training, expert opinion and services and technologies provided. Only degree-granting programs that are offered predominantly online by regionally accredited institutions were considered.

The rankings from U.S. News & World Report follow the other top honors the College of Business garnered over the past year. The Executive MBA program was ranked 39 among the top 50 Executive MBA programs in 2024 rankings from Fortune.

The Executive Education's professional development programs are also ranked by the Financial Times as No. 2 in the United States and No. 1 in Florida for the second year in a row, as South Florida emerges as Wall Street South.

As the college’s recognition has grown, student enrollment has increased. The Fall 2024 semester saw the highest enrollment in the past five years: 7,456 undergraduates and almost 2,000 graduate students.
