Certificate of Business in Medicine

The College of Medicine and the College of Business created a new certificate opportunity for the medical students. The new certificate programs will give medical students opportunities to take classes through the College of Business and learn non-clinical skills necessary to successful operate a practice. The Business of Medicine Certificate was designed for a 9-week completion, the program will be delivered live virtually.

 

Program Details

  • Format: Tuesdays & Thursday

  • Dates: May 25 – Jul. 22, 2021 

  • Time: 6:30PM – 9:30 PM

  • Hours: 54 Hours/ 5.4 CEUs

  • Sessions: 18

  • Fee: $2,500 (Non FAU students)

  • Location: Live Virtual

    • What is required to comply with the numerous regulations,

  • Understand medical malpractice and how to prevent problems,
  • Be introduced to the complex business issues involved in managing a medical practice.
