and education, Meredith launched her family-owned rheumatology and sports medicine practice in 2007 and is the catalyst behind its success.

She works with national decision makers to protect patient access and private practice medicine, consults for various healthcare facilities, and educates her medical community colleagues on compliance, operations, and entrepreneurship. Meredith co-created and teaches the Certified Medical Business Management program at Florida Atlantic University’s Executive Education College of Business.

Meredith is on a constant quest to learn and hone her leadership skills so she can inspire leaders and develop future leaders to achieve their greatest successes and highest potential.

A Temple University graduate, Jay has serves as a professional motivational speaker, educator, lecturer and moderator for nearly a dozen industry organizations, including, THE Aesthetic Show, THE Aesthetic Academy, The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Vegas Cosmetic Surgery, Global Aesthetics, IMCAS and more!

He received his Certified Medical Business Manager (CMBM) certificate from Florida Atlantic University in 2009 and has been a Certified Aesthetic Consultant (Levels I-XVI) from The Aesthetic Practice Association (TAPA). Shorr Solutions has been named the National Practice Management Company of the year in 2018 and 2019 from The Aesthetic Awards, UBM Publications and Informa. Jay previously received the Honorable Mention Award for O/R Excellence in medical financial management, and won the Aesthetic Everything Award in the Top Presidents category from 2017 - 2019.

Mr. Acevedo is a healthcare industry veteran with over 18 years of expertise in combining the unique perspective of avoiding physician risk and liability with opportunities for optimizing reimbursement. Chris currently serves as the Healthcare Compliance Officer for Barry University, is frequently called on as expert witness on medical coding and physician documentation disputes with third-party payers and as a Litigative Consultant for the United States Attorneys’ Office (USAO). Additionally he spent a number of years as Vice President of Physician Operations for the Nation’s largest privately held hospice as well as the Chief Operating Officer of the largest multi-state provider of palliative care services in the United States. In these roles he was responsible for day-to-day operations, strategic growth, oversight of clinical integration and excellence, financial performance and operational efficiencies.

She is certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Coding, Billing, Auditing, Risk Adjustment, and Documentation Integrity. She is a specialty coder in Evaluation and Management and a certified instructor.

Christine is the current chairwoman for the AAPC Billing Advisory Committee, a skilled educator, and a national public speaker. She is a subject matter expert in coding, risk adjustment, telehealth, reimbursement, and compliance. Christine has had the pleasure of working with many of the gold-star standard organizations in healthcare. She hosts the bi-weekly podcast “Coding with Christine Hall,” available on YouTube and all streaming platforms.
