Graduate Placement

Graduates of the Master's Program in Economics pursue a variety of careers. Most recent graduates work in the private sector (73%), typically in management (38%) or analyst (35%) positions. Some go on to pursue a Ph.D. (15%). Others work in the public sector (4%).

Our graduate students place very well. Recent graduates have taken positions at Amazon, Banco Santander, Bank of Korea, Cargill, Disney Parks, Deloitte, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Goldman Sachs, Lockheed Martin, NextEra, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Qualtrics, Royal Caribbean, U.S. Census Bureau, and Wells Fargo. Others have gone on to Ph.D. programs at Clemson University, Colorado State University, Florida Atlantic University, Florida State University, Syracuse University, University of Central Florida, and University of Florida.
