Hello everyone –

As you may have seen from an earlier campus-wide email, I’ve been tasked with serving as the College of Business’ “Faculty Advisor” to the FAU Presidential Search Committee.

As such, I’m encouraging each of you to take part in one of the upcoming “listening” sessions with the search firm and participate in the discussion. I will be attending the faculty meetings on the Boca campus and on Zoom.

If you can’t attend, and have any questions you would like answered in a session, please send me your questions in advance and I will ask them on your behalf in a session and get back to you with the answers.  They are also seeking our input on what characteristics the search team should look for in our next president, so your comments on that are also welcome.

I also will provide a brief summary of what I heard in these sessions for everyone after all the meetings conclude, either via email or at our fall faculty meeting.
