Summer, Semester and Year Programs
Through experiencing a different culture and earning academic credit, students enhance their personal, professional and academic résumé—demonstrating that they have the intercultural competence and versatility needed to compete in today’s global workforce. Most programs have coursework taught in English, though there are many programs available to students looking to learn a new language or practice one they are learning.
Exchange Programs
Students are registered and pay tuition at FAU, but are enrolled in courses at a partner institution abroad. All courses must be pre-approved by FAU College of Business. Space on exchange programs is limited, and spots do fill, so apply early!

Next Steps
Students interested in participating on an Education Abroad program should review the information using the links listed above. Group and individual meetings are available with Education Abroad staff for more information. For additional Education Abroad questions, contact goabroad@fau.edu or (561) 297-1208.
Once an Education Abroad program has been identified and the Education Abroad Office has confirmed space is available for the term you plan to go abroad, current College of Business students should schedule an appointment with Dr. Tania Tucker for study abroad course approvals via the Success Network.
Important Note: Arrangements for study abroad take time, the ideal time to study abroad is during your 2nd semester sophomore or junior year. In most cases you will need to be declared in your major prior to going abroad. Finally, not all majors can easily go abroad. If you are Accounting, Management Information Systems, or Data Science you will want to speak with the College of Business study abroad advisor early.
