TRACK ONE FOR NEW SUPERVISORS
The Public Safety Leadership Development Certificate Program (Track One) combines the most important issues in leadership with a focus on public safety. Track One is designed for new supervisors who would benefit from a better understanding of their own leadership and management styles, improved oral and written communications, managing conflict, working with multi-generational teams, delegation, and time management. Individuals who work in law enforcement, fire, 911 telecommunications, emergency management, and support services are encouraged to attend. Individuals at the sergeant, detective, investigator, supervisor and manager levels will benefit from this course.

TRACK TWO FOR EXPERIENCED LEADERS
The Public Safety Leadership Development Certificate Program (Track Two) is designed to help good leaders become extraordinary leaders. South Florida’s public safety leaders face intense pressure, requiring innovative thinking, collaboration and exceptional communication. The course entails a heavy focus on critical thinking, strategic planning, leading through change, getting buy in, team communication and engagement, and creating a Leader-Leader culture. Track Two is designed for individuals who are highly respected and who strive to have a positive impact on their agencies for years to come. This course is beneficial for lieutenant, captain, commander, and director level personnel. Applicants must have a strong interest in both personal and agency improvement.
