Traditional MBA - Entrepreneurship

The principal objective of the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) Program is to advance the quality of business management. The MBA program provides advanced management education in an environment that encourages students to extend their leadership capabilities. A Master of Business Administration degree enables students to gain broad managerial skills and to develop specialized expertise in a business discipline that best suits their career aspirations.

Students that pursue a MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship will focus all program electives (12 credits) toward their area of concentration. Students will have the opportunity to select from graduate level courses in the Department of Management Programs to fulfill specialization requirements. Students must obtain a “B” grade or better in all elective courses to achieve Entrepreneurship Specialization.

The Adams Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE) in affiliation with the Department of Management Programs (DMP) strives to engage students and the south Florida community in the spirit of entrepreneurship.

The ACE focuses on community engagement efforts offering a portfolio of innovative programs to provide "real world" experiences to students. These programs are organized into three areas: cross disciplinary academics, community outreach, and venture creation from emerging technologies.

The ACE mission is to create entrepreneurial leaders that find sustainable solutions to economic and social problems. The goal of ACE is to prepare FAU students in business, science, engineering, and all disciplines who are looking to become entrepreneurs through business ownership or through venturing.

Certificate in Innovation Entrepreneurship available, contact Department of Management for details.
