Brandon Gosselin, a recent PMBA alum, was named the 2020 College of Business Student
Leader of the Year, in recognition of his leadership, community service, and academic
excellence. A first-generation college graduate, Brandon credits FAU’s MBA program
with giving him the tools to build his start-up tech company, The Empowerment US Company,
which created patent-pending technology for use by the hospitality industry. The company
has been valued at $10 million. Brandon also created The Empowering B.A.C.K. Foundation,
which offers student scholarships and recently provided thousands of masks to hospital
systems and churches in Northwest Oklahoma. In addition, Brandon recently authored
a book, and for every copy purchased, a partnering company will make a $100 scholarship
donation to his 501(c)(3) non-profit — The Empowering B.A.C.K. Foundation.
