🦈The Shark Tank "Sharks" are Coming!

Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024 at 3:30 PM - Carole and Barry Kaye Auditorium

Daymond John, Robert Herjavec, and Kevin O’Leary, aka Mr. Wonderful, right here at Florida Atlantic!

The Sharks will share stories never told, then they’re going to switch tanks and enter the “Croc Tank!” As part of Noble Capital Markets’ annual NobleCon conference – that Florida Atlantic also hosted last year with keynote President George W. Bush – the featured event is a LIVE pitch-off with all the drama and intrigue of the ABC hit series. And yes, if they like what they see, they will personally invest! Here’s the best part… the pitches will come from the winning contestants of an Adam’s Center for Entrepreneurship competition – all from our Florida Atlantic ecosystem!

Meet the Sharks and cheer on the Owlers when they hit the stage!

Discounted tickets for faculty and staff are now available for purchase. This one-of-a-kind event will sell out. Go to FAUevents.com NOW and be part of it. December 4, 2024, 3:30 pm (doors open at 2:30pm) at the Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium.

🎁Participate in the Christmas Feast Toy Drive!

This year we are partnering with Boca Helping Hands & Town Center Mall at Boca Raton for their 9th Annual Christmas Feast Toy Drive! This annual event provides a holiday meal, entertainment and a gift to over 500 underserved families in our South Florida community. The event is made possible by the Town Center Mall, Boca Helping Hands, several local businesses, and of course donations from community members like you! We encourage you to participate by donating a toy to a child in need!

Toy donation guidelines:

  • Geared towards children ages 5-16 years old
  • Unwrapped gifts
  • No gift cards
  • Gift Ideas: Sports balls, games, books, clothes, make-up, costume jewelry, stuffed animals, art supplies, toys, musical instruments, Legos, Play-Doh, dolls, etc.
  • There is no monetary value set per gift, but you can use $15- $25 as a guideline.

Bring your gift donation to the Dean’s Office front desk and place it under the tree. When you drop it off, please fill out your name on the raffle ticket and place it in the bowl (will be on the table next to the tree).

Each toy donation = 1 raffle entry, so feel free to donate as many gifts as you would like! The raffle drawing will take place at the Holiday Party on Monday, December 16!

Gift donations can be dropped off to the Dean’s Office 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM through Friday, December 13!
