Overview of Course Information

  • To be eligible for the combined Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management Information Systems to Master of Science (M.S.) in Information Technology and Management (MSITM) degree program, students must fulfill the following requirements

    1. Completion of the requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management Information Systems; and
    2. Completion of all requirements for the Master of Science (M.S.) in Information Technology and Management (MSITM).
  • The following undergraduate course requirements may be replaced with the graduate-level courses shown (up to a total of 12 credits). These graduate credits count toward both the bachelor’s degree and the master’s degree programs.

* Students who have taken an undergraduate elective course cannot use the corresponding graduate course for substitution or for credit toward the graduate program. ** Students pursuing the Business Analytics concentration for MSITM should choose two courses from the Business Analytics Group and one course from the Technology Management Group

*** Students pursuing the Information Technology Management concentration for MSITM should choose two courses from the Technology Management Group and one course from the Business Analytics Group

**** Students enrolled in the combined program should take ISM 6148, the graduate equivalent of ISM 3230. ISM 6148 will count toward the 12 credits allowed for substitution during the undergraduate program. ISM 6225, or ISM 6217 can also be used as a substitute course in the event the student cannot take ISM 6148 or has already taken ISM 3230
