ASA fosters interaction between students and professionals, encourages personal and professional development, and provides members with an understanding of the various career paths in accounting.

Join ASA:

• Any current FAU student is eligible
• One-time $20 initiation fee
• Make professional connections with other ASA members
• Receive a blue ASA Member Cord after attending at least three ASA professional accounting speaker events in the same semester
• Receive a red ASA Community Service Cord after attending at least two ASA community service events in the same semester
• Receive a digital membership certificate

Attend Events:

• ASA events are open to all FAU students
• Explore a variety of accounting careers
• Meet local professionals and employers
• Improve your networking skills
• Earn extra credit in some accounting and tax courses
• Receive free giveaways at the induction event

Become an Officer:

• Build your resume with a leadership position
• Gain experience with skills in demand in the workplace
• Receive an ASA officer stole to wear at graduation
• Be eligible for scholarships given to student organization officers

Accounting students are encouraged to join at least one of the following professional organizations providing career information, professional events, and valuable networking opportunities.
