Accounting
An Accounting Minor is available to students seeking a bachelors degree requiring completion of the business core (all business majors except Health Administration, General Economics, and BGS).
A minor in accounting must be earned concurrently with a bachelor's degree.
A minimum of 6 credits in the minor must be taken in residence at FAU. The minor is official only upon successful completion of a College of Business degree program. Courses used for the minor must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
Accounting minor courses cannot be used for any other business major or college requirements except as business or free electives.
Pre-requisites:
ACG2021, ACG2071, and declaring a business core major.
Accounting Minor Course Requirements:
- Nine credits (3 courses) of upper-division (3000-5000 level) ACG or TAX prefixed courses.
