Anil Bilgihan, Associate Professor, Department of Marketing/Hospitality and Tourism Management, and co-author C. Menidjel, University of Larbi Tebessi, Algeria, had their paper (forthcoming) titled, “How perceptions of relationship investment influence customer loyalty: the mediating role of perceived value and the moderating role of relationship proneness,” accepted for publication in the Journal of Strategic Marketing.  

Chris Boudreaux, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, and co-authors, Monica Escaleras, Professor, Department of Economics, and Anand Jha, Wayne State University, had their paper titled, “Weathering the Storm: How Foreign Aid and Institutions Affect Entrepreneurship Activity Following Natural Disasters,” accepted for publication in Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (FT-50 journal). 

Paul Koku, Professor, Department of Marketing, with co-author Maria Petrescu, FAU Ph.D. alumna, had their paper titled, “Market Sentiment and Growth in the Context of Consumer Boycotts and Buycotts,” accepted to the Academy of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ACIEK) Conference, scheduled virtually for June. 

Paul Koku, Professor, Department of Marketing, had a paper accepted for publication by Health Marketing Quarterly, titled “The Legal and Ethical Dimensions of Direct-to-Consumer Advertising of Prescription Drugs: The Case of Pfizer and Lipitor in the United States.”  

Melanie P. Lorenz, Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing, with co-authors Ramsey, J. R., Liu, J., Posthuma, R., and Brambila, C., had their paper titled, “Exploring Perceived Innovativeness in Central America and the Caribbean: Cross-level Interactions of Perceived Camaraderie, Organizational Camaraderie Climate, and Organizational Gender Diversity” accepted (in press/available online) in International Journal of Human Resource Management.  

Judy Monestime, Instructor, and Pierre Alexandre, Associate Professor and Director, both from the Department of Management/Health Administration; and Kathy Freeman, Professor, FAU College of Medicine, had their manuscript titled, “Provider Participation in the Florida Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Program: Practice Characteristics, Meaning Use Attestations, and Incentive Payments,” accepted for publication in International Journal of Medical Informatics (ABS3). 

Judy Monestime, Instructor, and Pierre Alexandre, Associate Professor and Director, both from the Department of Management/Health Administration; and Kathy Freeman, Professor, FAU College of Medicine, had their grant application titled, “Exploring Social Determinants of Health Variables to Predict Avoidable 30-day Readmission and Death,” selected to submit a full proposal to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's, Health Data for Action program.
