Florida Atlantic University continues to serve and honor our Veterans and Military.
The state of Florida is currently the home of 1.6 million Veterans. With over 30,000
students, we are rapidly growing and serve over 1,700 Veterans, dependents, Active
Duty, National Guard, and Reserve members in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral
programs. FAU is also part of a large ROTC Battalion that shapes the next generation
of Military Leaders and provides opportunities to continue serving. FAU offers Veteran,
Military, and dependent students the support they need to be successful and is committed
to the men and women that serve our nation and protect freedom.

Veteran Owls
The mission and purpose of
Veteran Owls at Florida Atlantic University is to provide support and assistance to veteran students
in their transition from military to college life with a support system and opportunities
to participate in veteran-oriented events. The Veteran Owls club promotes a welcoming
environment for current military and military veterans by providing a forum in which
we may foster camaraderie and friendship by supporting one another through our academic
careers, assisting with financial aid and housing resources, and offering educational
and career preparation services.
