FAU’s Online BBA (OBBA) program in Management (Leadership and Applied Managerial Skills option) prepares students for management positions and career advancement opportunities in the industry of their choice through the development of a strong educational foundation in macro and microeconomics, information systems, human resources, financial analytics and business law.
As a Management major, students learn how to:
- Coordinate the deployment of financial and material assets
- Schedule, supervise and appraise the performance of the sales force
- Analyze market research and financial performance to make optimal strategic direction decisions
- Align organizational processes with company mission
- Manage the supply chain to ensure high-quality products and optimal service
As markets become more complex, firms are experiencing a growing need for talented managers at all levels of business. Sales managers are able to leverage the strength of human resources, create new business opportunities and successfully respond to the challenges of rapid technological change, resource scarcity and growing compliance requirements to lower operational costs, increase productivity and improve sales potential. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of sales managers is projected to increase 5% from 2018-28, faster than average for most occupations. The medium annual wage was $124,220 in May 2018, with the top 10% earning in excess of $208,000.
Designed to develop and prepare future business leaders to tackle the challenges of the global business environment, the Online BBA (OBBA) program in Management teaches students how to integrate business activities across departments, motivate team members, cultivate a global mindset and create strategies, plans, procedures, and policies that guide business operations in the short and long term. Degree completion prepares students for management careers in the fields of accounting, economics, communications, human resources, marketing, insurance, professional development and many more.

To declare an Online BBA (OBBA) in Management degree, students must have earned 60 credit hours, satisfied the foreign language admission requirement (FLENT), achieved a minimum 2.5 GPA in the Pre-Business Foundation courses.
A minimum of 120 credit hours are required for the degree. Applications are accepted in any term.
