MAC (AIS) Program Information
Program Details
- Designed for recent graduates and early career starters
- Full-time or part-time enrollment, Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm
- Degree Requirements:
- 30 credits required
- Location: Boca Raton campus
- Delivery Format: In-person courses delivered face-to-face, in real-time, in a class-room setting during the day.
- Apply Year-round (deadlines by semester: July 1 (fall), November 1 (spring), April 1 (summer)
Curriculum
A total of 10 courses (30 credit hours) are required.
Core Courses – 6 Courses / 18 Semester Hours:
- Graduate Business Communications Applications (GEB 6215)
- Advanced Accounting Theory (ACG 6135)
- Advanced Financial Reporting and Accounting Concepts (ACG 6138)
- Concepts of Federal Income Tax (TAX 6025)
- Advanced Accounting Information Systems (ACG 6475)
- Advanced Auditing Theory and Practice (ACG 6655)
Accounting Elective – 1 Course / 3 Semester Hours
Students choosing the AIS concentration are required to select IT Audit (ACG 6625) as their accounting elective.
Program Electives – 3 Courses / 9 Semester Hours
Students choosing the AIS concentration must select three of the ISM courses listed below as their program electives.
- Data Mining and Predictive Analytics (ISM 6136)
- Database Management Systems (ISM 6217)
- Information Technology Project and Change Management (ISM 6316)
- Management of Information Assurance and Security (ISM 6328)
- Enterprise Information Technology Service Management (ISM 6368)
