1. Federal Financial Aid
Students whose method of tuition payment is federal financial aid should complete
the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.
FAU Executive Education school code: 001481
Most students who apply for Federal Financial Aid (Stafford Loan) via the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are eligible for $20,500 per academic year in loans.
The awarded amount is divided into 2 semesters - fall and spring. Once awarded, the
funds can be declined, decreased or accepted in the amount awarded. The amount of
tuition covered by the financial aid is deferred until the aid award is disbursed.
View the FAU Financial Aid database for additional information.
2. Tuition Assistance
A copy of your Voucher (Letter of Credit) is required by our office within the first
week of classes. Once Vouchers are received, the Controller’s Office will bill your
company directly for the classes and amounts listed on the Voucher.
The Sponsor’s payment of fees and costs shall not be contingent upon a student’s academic
performance in one or more courses. The student will be responsible for paying any
portion of the tuition/fees not covered by their employer.
To be eligible for Tuition Assistance, your employer must be set up for Third Party
Billing.
Please see the steps here, third party billing | Florida Atlantic University, on how to become eligible. Please contact the Controller’s Office for assistance
on this process: sponsoredstudents@fau.edu.
3. Tuition Reimbursement
If a student’s employer offers tuition reimbursement, the student will be responsible
for paying their tuition balance upfront, no deferment is available. Students can
make payments via self-pay, financial aid, VA benefits, etc.
Students are responsible for following their employer’s tuition reimbursement policy
on how to ensure that they are reimbursed for their classes. If proof of payment is
required by your employer, please contact Financial Services, ExecEdFinance@fau.edu.
4. Self Pay Installments
A payment plan is provided for students who select the self-pay method. There are 4 payment installments in the fall and spring semesters and 3 payment installments in the summer semester.
5. Private Lending

11. Annual Cost of Attendance
Financial aid offers are based on a cost of attendance that is constructed based on several components as designated by federal regulations. The cost of attendance includes “Direct Costs” for expenses that are paid to FAU directly, such as tuition, fees and on-campus housing and meal plans. It also includes “Indirect Costs” for expenses that are not paid to FAU directly, but that we anticipate you may pay for living and other personal expenses while you are enrolled. Your actual cost may vary. This estimate is for fall and spring semesters only and assumes full time enrollment 9 credits in the fall and 9 credits in the spring. Enrollment for summer has additional costs. Some programs involve additional costs. Please contact your department (or prospective department) if you have questions about additional costs.
